Strange Seas is the first release from recording sessions at St Kenelms 13th century church in Sapperton, Gloucestershire, in May 2019.
The church sits in the heart of a rural setting, and while parts of the church date back to the 11th century, its likely that there was a sacred site on the spot even earlier. This is where Dead Space Chamber Music were recording towards a second album, and invited Tommy Creep to collaborate on some new material.
Strange Seas is the first in what is hoped will be a series of Dark Alchemy original collaborative releases.
Recorded on reel-to-reel tape by Tom Berry.
With heartfelt thanks to the Churches Conservation Trust, who care for this and so many sacred spaces accross the country.
